Singer/songwriter Dana Cooper has wowed audiences throughout the U.S. and Europe. Cooper's ingenious guitar work and gutsy harmonica continue to augment his passionate voice and insightful lyrics.
Out of the heartland of America - the stomping ground of Truman and Twain - Cooper was playing his music in Kansas City clubs by the age of 16. Leaving behind a college art scholarship, Dana toured the country and landed in Los Angeles. In 1973, Elektra Records released his self-titled debut solo album featuring luminary players Russ Kunkel, Leland Sklar and Jim Horn. Cooper later moved to Texas to join forces with long-time friend Shake Russell. Their collaborations produced five highly successful folk-rock albums, including one on MCA in 1981.
Over the years Dana has released many independent solo albums. Recent tours of Denmark, Ireland, Sweden and Germany have gained Cooper exuberant support from audiences and radio as well as collaborations and friendships with many songwriters in these countries.

A Gulf Coast band that is cooking up a unique new sound, Delta Reign is a group of musicians from the Mobile River Delta that got together in the Fall of 2004 for a jam. There was an energy and groove that they had together, and instantly, they knew that this was to be a new band. Blending traditional bluegrass with western swing rhythms, tight vocal harmonies, stirring in some blues, and a dash of jazz results in what some are calling bluegrass...delta style.
Benita Murphy sings most of the lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar (and sometimes upright bass). After a ten year hiatus from performing to stay at home with her son, Benita began performing again in 2003. With experience with several great bands and many years of festival experience, Benita's husband Pat Murphy plays banjo and sings. Fiddler Tom Morley joined the band in 2007. Tom lived in Nashville, performing numerous recording sessions, as well as spending five years playing with country music artist John Anderson. Tom performs classical music with the Mobile Symphony and leads his own Celtic band Mithril. Jazz Bassist Dennis Gould is the newest member. Dennis relocated from Baltimore to Mobile.

Seduction comes in many forms. Those who can seduce with style make it seem effortless, unintentional, irresistible. Robin Stine's music seduces with a whiff of subtle perfume and a casual graze of her hand as she walks past, leaving the listener powerless to do anything but follow. As a singer, her voice floats on the stylish edge of contemporary cool—light, but never lightweight. As a songwriter, her enchanting originals set her in the upper echelon of today's songwriters.
Based in Pensacola, Florida, Robin is pursuing a degree in music at the University of West Florida. She continues to write and is now beginning work on her second album, a mixture of jazz standards and originals.

Hailing from Alpharetta, Georgia, High Cotton is a band made up of "seasoned" musicians whose collective experience gives their original songs a depth and quality that is timeless. Proud of their many band journeys over the years...Folk, Jazz, Pop, Celtic, Rock and Country - their different sensibilities and perspectives find its way into their songs - reflecting experiences only gained by having 'lived some life'. Combining soulful and devilishly passionate vocals from Laura Monk with the mix of rhythm guitar, deep bass undertones, an eclectic mix of percussion and smooth lead guitar, High Cotton creates a unique sound that sets itself apart from the rest of Americana. Their diversity of writing stretches the ‘Americana' tag and the result is memorable songs that stand apart. Rock, Doo-Wop, POP, Country and Folk fit on their latest CD ‘Pictures' in a way that makes perfect sense. A little bit of this and that mixes with all parts of life's journeys to create a full bale of High Cotton.

An internationally trained instrumental band specializing in our own unique improvisational fusion of Classical, Jazz, not-so-smooth jazz, Funk, Latin, and Nuevo Flamenco. Each member in the band brings a unique history of musical instruction ranging from central European Gypsy Jazz, to High Classical, to New England Hardcore. The result is intriguing, even to us, because people love our music. But also like us, they have difficulty putting it in a genre. We have been very blessed thus far and enjoy local celebrity from very encouraging fans from all age ranges.
Essentially, we are five men in their early to mid 20's who love to offer the listeners a much welcomed deviance from the norm...seldom playing a song the same way twice in the truest spirit of authenticity and personal expression. However, our story supports why we are different than your common acoustic jam band.
Upon picking up the guitar in our teens, we did what all fledgling guitar players do...Dave Matthews covers, Sweet Home Alabama, Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Stairway to Heaven, and all the other run of the mill stuff... you hear it everywhere. That was until one day they came across 2 Europeans shredding acoustic guitars on the Gulf Coast one fall afternoon. Called Tonic Strings, they played an intoxicating blend of gypsy jazz, folk, flamenco, and classical music that we just couldn't stop listening to. Upon meeting Tonic Strings, they took us under their wings and showed us the ropes. They left us sheet music, CD's, phone numbers, and a radically new way of looking at the guitar. Once we (Noah and Josh Thompson) progressed, Tonic Strings invited us to Zurich, Switzerland where we studied in a renovated monastery in the Alps. This place was like a scene from a movie...an entire place whose age is older than our United States itself, completely devoted to the scholarly pursuit of music. Amidst the stained glass, statuary, and aged stone walls is where we wrote "Las Aguas", "JazzeD", and other songs. Experiences like this are greatly responsible for what you hear...saving us from becoming 2 more "cookie cutter" guitarists in the process.

Rave reviews and repeat engagements are the norm for this six-foot tall beauty. Holly studied piano, guitar, violin, and ballet, earned a BFA in Theatre Performance, practices Pilates, and has totally mastered the art of SINGER/ENTERTAINER.
She can turn on her southern charm, the ditsy humor and the spell binding virtuosity that captivates everyone within earshot - all the while moving like satin, turning heads, and winning hearts.
Based for several years at the 4-Diamond Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama, she is in demand at jazz festivals, cabaret venues, organizational gatherings, et al.. From Memphis to Morocco to the Mediterranean, whether accompanied by piano alone, or with her eclectic group of exciting musicians, every event becomes special indeed.

One word to describe the swampdelic sounds of Chubby Carrier and Bayou Swamp Band? Fun. Pure Louisiana zydeco fun with a hot sauce chaser. Anybody who has doubts about the accordion as an instrument will be swayed the right way with Carrier's passion and fire on the instrument.
Chubby Carrier started out as twinkle in Roy Carrier's eye (Roy looks more Chubby's older brother than his dad). The Carriers are one of the great musical families in Louisiana. There's Poppa Roy, Chubby, Chubby's brother Troy (AKA Dikki Du and The Zydeco Krewe), Roy's nephew Dwight Carrier and The Zydeco Ro Dogs. There's also Chubby's Aunt Laura Maria Doolittle (AKA Zydeco-T) who plays with Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies.
There's traditional roots in Chubby's zydeco, but expands the sound for all ages. Live and in studio he's taken songs like B.B. King's "Rock Me Baby," Billy Preston's "Will It Go Round in Circles," The Who's "Squeeze Box", War's "Cisco Kid" and the Grateful Dead's "Fire On The Mountain" and dragged them through the swamp with beautiful results. It's adding Louisiana spice to popular tunes that help Carrier build the bridge between zydeco and the rest of the world. Mardi Gras can happen 365 days a year!
In the post-Katrina world there has been a newfound awareness of the music of Louisiana. It's awareness that shouldn't be paid to these artists out of pity over what happened. It should be paid because the music of Louisiana is one big stewpot of many flavors and it's really damn tasty. It was tasty before Katrina and it's still tasty now. Chubby Carrier and The Bayou Swamp Band is the musical part in the stewpot where the gumbo meets the rice and you want to sop it up with some French bread. Prepare to be funkified, zydecofied and the pleasant victim of a Chubby party.

With Cynthia Domulot on piano and vocals, her husband Fred Domulot playing drums and the outstanding talents of Tom Latenser, this trio plays some great jazz, funk and Latin tunes-from bebop to standards to their own original compositions. Frequent performers in the West Florida area, they also collaborate with other area musicians and ensembles.

In addition, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra's performances continue to be broadcast regularly on WUWF-FM, reaching 45,000 listeners far beyond the concert hall stage.
Today, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra's dedication to its community is evident in the free concerts, church performances, school concerts and numerous other activities that connect people with the traditions of Bach, Beethoven and Stravinsky. The Symphony, its programs and its artists are an integral part of the cultural and economic life of Pensacola and Northwest Florida.
"It has been richly rewarding to work in a community that has taken such pride in its musical life, and which has supported its orchestra so tenaciously. With that foundation to rest upon, the future of the Pensacola Symphony is sure to be as exciting as its past"
-- Peter Rubardt, Music Director, 1997-present
