The Festival Poster

Contest Deadline is 12:00 Noon, May 16, 2008.

Each year, the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival sponsors a design competition to select the official GGAF poster. The winning artist receives a $1,000 cash award. Creative artists of all ages are encouraged to submit their designs. Entries should be appropriate for replication for posters, silk screened T-shirts and other GGAF promotional items.

Submission Requirements: All entries must be a minimum size of 14" x 24", no more than 24" x 36", include the name Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival, Pensacola, Florida, and the year. Each entry must include the artist's name, address and telephone number adhered to the back of the entry. No more than three designs per artist may be submitted.

Entries need to be mailed or delivered to ARC Gateway, 3932 N 10th Ave Pensacola, Florida 32503 by 12:00 Noon on May 16, 2008.

Judging criteria will include viability of sales potential and submissions should be thematically related to the arts festival and/or the region. The GGAF Committee reserves the right to accept or reject all work submitted during this competition. The GGAF, Inc. accepts no liability for damaged or lost art works.

GGAF, Inc. will reproduce and wrap the winning Poster for sale during the Festival. Only 250 signed copies of the Poster are available for sale each year. They have become a regional collector’s item. The winning entry becomes the property of GGAF, Inc. The artist retains the copyright of the design image, but GGAF reserves the right to unlimited reproduction and use of the image or parts of the image for arts festival materials and products for sale.
