The Suzi Perry Arts
Scholarship Fund

In 1995, the GGAF lost a relentless advocate and community spirit who changed the Festival from a small, locally run event, into a world class show which draws artists from all over the world.

In her honor, the Suzi Perry Arts Scholarship Fund was established and as a way to recognize her vibrant personality, the Main Stage was renamed “Suzi’s Stage”. The scholarship fund provides a stipend to a promising visual and/or performing arts student who attends Pensacola Junior College or the University of West Florida. Since it began in 1995, approximately $11,000 in scholarship awards have been given to deserving students.

Contributions for the scholarship can be made in Suzi’s memory at any time during the year to the Suzi Perry Arts Scholarship Fund c/o of the Arts Council of Northwest Florida. During the festival, donations can be made at the Gazebo or simply drop your contribution in one of the tip jars placed around the area. Suzi’s vision was great and her life touched many people. Her tireless spirit will never be forgotten by the Pensacola community and now the recipients of this scholarship will also benefit from her commitment.
