GGAF is a local nonprofit organization committed to supporting and nurturing the arts in the Pensacola community. Each year, the GGAF Scholarship Committee awards six UWF and PSC arts students $1,000 each. To qualify, students must currently attend UWF or PSC majoring in visual, performing, or media arts, have completed a minimum of one semester with an established, verifiable GPA, and complete an application form. Winners are announced annually prior to the festival.
When funding is available, the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival board of directors awards grants to local nonprofit organizations in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties for community arts projects. To qualify, the nonprofit organization must have a 501(c)(3) designation, provide a demonstrated need of a worthwhile arts project, and complete an application form. Grants are awarded annually.
