Be a part of the Festival
In an effort to keep the Festival non-commercial, the committee is very selective in how one may participate. Official sponsors may be allowed to distribute promotional materials but not offer merchandise for sale. Booths are not for sale.
There are several ways to be a part of the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival. You can:
- Apply to the Art Show. The GGAF is a juried art show. Each year, we receive more than 600 applications for the festival. Jurors select more than 200 artists who will be invited to exhibit their work. Applications are available from March 1st till May 31st each year. See the Art Show page for more information.
- Volunteer to help make it all happen. The Festival is an all-volunteer-run event with no paid staff. If interested, use the contact page and select “Volunteer at the GGAF” or sign up at Here.
- Apply to be a Heritage Artist. Applications open each May.
- Volunteer to help in the Children's area!
- Enter the poster contest.
- Support the Festival by being a sponsor or a patron.
- Apply to be a food vendor. If interested, use the contact page and select “concessions and vendors.”
- If your band or musical act is interested in performing, use the contact page and select “Main Stage (Music).”
- If your local dance studio is interested in performing, use the contact page and select “Performing Arts Stage (Dance).”
- One Emerging Artist is selected to be a part of the Festival each year.
- If you are an artist from outside the US, consider applying to be the International Invited Artist.
