Covid Forces Postponement of Invited International Artist Visit »

Due to issues with international travel due the COVID, Invited International Artist Lara Sophie Benjamin will not be able to attend this year's Festival. We hope she will be able to join us in Pensacola in 2022.

Local Author and Launches Eighth Book »

Janice Ryan Hall is excited to launch her eighth book. She will be signing Dawn Breaks from 5-7 p. m., Fri., Aug. 20, at Lili Marlene’s, Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. You may purchase copies of the novel for $21.95 at the event. Ron Hall, an award-winning digital designer, designed the cover.

2021 Emerging Artists Announced  »

The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival, in partnership with Artel Gallery, announce the artists selected for the Emerging Artists grant program. Ivo Alcala said his focus is figure drawing and portraits. “I love classical painting, but I am stuck in a world of contemporary art.” Summer Sevi works primarily in oils and charcoal, she creates haunting portraits conveying the struggles that we all share.

2020 Children's Poster Contest »

The winners of the 2020 GGAF Children's Poster Contest have been announced. The contest was open to Escambia and Santa Rosa county children ages 4 – 11. This year's theme is “Home Sweet Home.”

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of this year’s Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival. The decision to cancel the Festival is a tough one, but with COVID-19 cases on the rise, the health and safety of arts patrons, volunteers, artists, sponsors, vendors, and festival participants must be our top priority.

2019 Poster Design Selected »

The 2019 Festival poster is based on a painting by Emily Woodson, an illustrator, graphic designer, and painter living in Pace, Florida. She has a BFA in Illustration Kansas City Art Institute. Emily is part of the marketing team at Levin Rinke Realty.
